Great to meet you.

I’m Dr. Alice Burron, and I help people navigate their health in a whole new way.

I noticed that telling people to eat right and exercise - which I did for over 20 years - didn’t change many people’s behavior. It only helped a few.

So I studied the few.

I then studied the science behind what makes people behave like they do, focusing on decision-making.

I wanted to know how and why people responded to their health. Then, putting all of these strategies together, I offered a course to see if people could learn how to think about their health differently and implemented my strategy in the workplace to see if I could change wellness behaviors.

And you know what? It worked.

I coached people who were chronically ill. I watched diseases reverse, people heal, and their lives extended. I trained health coaches to help their clients do the same, and now have my own team of Health Navigator Coaches.

Since then, I’ve written articles, spoken at conferences, and made it my life’s mission to share what I’ve found.

We shouldn’t focus on the health problem so much; we must move our focus to the person.

Here are a few of the most important insights:

We must embrace health with curiosity and an open mind.

We must have health humility - a willingness to admit we don’t have all the answers or make the best choices.

We need to be more intentional when managing our health in order to avoid the healthcare system when possible. Once we’re in the system, we have less control over our health outcome.

The HIQ Assessment

All of these resources and insights combined are what led me to create the Health Intelligence (HIQ) Assessment. This tool helps people navigate the obstacles getting in the way of good health decisions using the HIQ framework as a guide.

Want to take the assessment yourself? It takes about five minutes and is yours, free, for a limited time.

The Health Navigator Group

I am also very excited to announce the launch of The Health Navigator Group©

This is where my efforts become accessible to you! Founded in 2019, the Health Navigator Group exists to prevent barriers on your way to better health.

This is my biggest project to date, and is the culmination of decades of research. I can’t wait to share it with you!

So now you know what I do.

But on a more personal note, here’s a bit more about me. I’d love to get to know you, too!

I’m a native of Wyoming, and I'm on a mission to empower individuals to transform their lives through better decision-making.

With over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, I've witnessed firsthand the profound impact of informed choices on one's health and well-being.

My journey in healthcare began as a clinical exercise physiologist, where I learned the importance of physical health. Later, during my tenure at a large health insurance company, I delved into the intricacies of health plan management and helping individuals make sound health decisions.

Armed with a doctorate in Healthcare Education and Leadership, I embarked on the path of educating and inspiring. I've delivered numerous talks, penned thought-provoking articles, and authored books that challenge conventional thinking about health.

My goal is simple: to guide people to think about their health more intentionally.

What fuels my passion is a deep-seated belief that we are not taught how to manage our health well in the U.S. As a culture, we are reactive, not proactive.

We must transform how we think about our health through self-awareness. I'm not here to dictate what's right for everyone; I'm here to empower individuals with the tools and insights to make their own informed choices. We must change how we think about our health or our health will suffer. The foundation of good health is laid on good health decisions, starting with one better health decision at a time.

What fuels my passion is a deep-seated belief that we are not taught how to manage our health well in the U.S. As a culture, we are reactive, not proactive. ... I’m here to empower individuals with the tools and insights to make their own informed choices.
